The University at Albany is starting a new major with the goal of making the world safer. The new major is approved for the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cyber Security starting this fall.
The former Albany High School will be undergoing renovation to turn it into UAlbany's College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Rep. Paul Tonko toured the building on Wednesday morning. The renovation of the historic building is expected to cost $60 million.
