Shear Madness - a perfect prescription

Shear Madness is the latest offering at Capital Repertory Theater in Albany and I highly recommend it. It's a scream! A week ago my co-anchor, Jim Kambrich had the honors of doing a cameo and last night it was my turn. In short, the show's producers have written in a little t.v. news flash and invite local media sorts to deliver the lines. (there's also a cameo by local attorneys and tonight Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings treads the boards).

I saw the show about 10 years ago in Boston and thought it would be perfect for the Capital Region. I didn't realize then that the producers are two locals - one from Albany, the other from Schenectady ...

The show is playing in a number of big cities and where ever it calls home the script is adjusted to reflect local people, places and things.

Right now the run is through August but odds are good it will be extended. But don't wait. If laughter is the best medicine then this is one treatment we can all use.
