Suicide Prevention

  As we close in on the start of the new school year it's only natural folks in Schenectady will be wondering what programs are in place to prevent student suicides as the district dealt with that tragedy last school year. Heck, it's a concern for all schools.

   With that in mind - and concern for the entire community - The Capital Region Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hosting a free two-day training in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).
