Great Escape employee arrested

HUDSON FALLS — A teenager stands accused of grand larceny after investigators say he admitted to stealing money from the Great Escape.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office arrested Trevor I. June, 16, of Margaret Street, Hudson Falls, after loss prevention staff at the amusement park became suspicious about his activities at work.

Deputies say June confessed to stealing money from the park, and to letting people into the park without asking them to pay. Investigators say he also admitted to giving out free merchandise.

The sheriff's office believes the Great Escape lost more than $5,000 due to June's alleged conduct.

June is set to be arraigned at a later date.
