Free Health Screenings

Been so busy with twitter and facebook postings I've neglected my blog.

That said, I'm just going to let you know about a free health screening tomorrow ..

But before you get to that info I've got a question .. are you under insured? Do you have health insurance but the deductilbles are so high or the services covered so limited that it's not really worth the money you're paying? I'm working on a story along those lines .. if you'd like to share your stories email me, please at bzahn@wnyt.com

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will host its fifth Dr. Mario Zeolla ’97 Health Fair on Tuesday, October 20 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Albert M. White Gymnasium* (106 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY). The fair is free and open to the public and will include booths for:

 

  • Bone density screenings
  • Smoking cessation
  • Blood pressure screenings
  • Diabetes education
  • Sleep apnea
  • Cancer awareness
