Albany teen threatened by man with knife

ALBANY -- A suspect is still at large for an attempted knife-point robbery of a teenager. Police say the victim, a 14-year old from Second Street, was threatened around 6:45pm Friday night on Garden Street.

The teenager told police the suspect approached him with a mask over his face, waved a knife and said “gimme your money."  The boy refused, the suspect punched him in the face and ran off when a car drove by.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-years old and approximately 145 pounds.  The victim was not injured.
