Albany death tied to beef recall
ALBANY - One of the two deaths linked to a ground beef recall is an adult from Albany County.
The state Health Department says the person had several underlying health conditions.
Another death is reported in New Hampshire.
Twenty-eight people were sickened.
Fairbank Farms recalled almost 546,000 pounds of fresh ground beef that may be contaminated with E. coli. Each package carried the number "EST. 492" on the label.
