Keeping your waistline in check

We're about to enter the eating zone - you know, holiday parties, food turning up in your office, extra goodies at home. Man, just thinking about it can make your mouth water and your tummy feel full. But how to get through these months without adding to our weight?

   For starters - move .. if you haven't been exercising start a program (provided you're cleared for activity by your doctor if you've been a couch potato) .. I'm also a fan of keeping naturally flavored water or carbonated water handy. Most of the time quenching our thirst will take the edge off hunger.

    You might also want to check out this diet website. It's got good info and some fun stuff.  And btw - if you've already tried the warrior diet let me know how it's worked. For the record I'm not a fan of going on a diet because it implies you'll be going off it. I'm squarely in the 'make changes for a lifetime' camp to keep your weight down and health maximized.
