Meetings on post office closings planned

ALBANY - Residents upset about the closing of their post office have a chance to tell the postmaster how they feel.

A couple of public meetings are planned on the scheduled closings of the Pine Station and Delaware Station.

They are among 370 branches nationwide on the chopping block.

The postal service is facing a $7 billion deficit.

Today's meeting is at 4 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on South Allen Street. There is another meeting tomorrow.
