Drug arrests made in Amsterdam

AMSTERDAM  -- Three people are charged with cocaine sales in the city, police say.

 

City officers, the New York State Police CNET Investigation Unit and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department executed two search warrants Friday and one arrest warrant at another spot.

 

As a result of searches at 21 Union St. and 35 Eagle St., police arrested Gilberto Muniz, 29, of 86 Bunn St., and charged him with criminal sale of a controlled substance; Angel Borras, 20, of 35 Eagle St., with possession of a controlled substance; Pedro Fuentes, 57, of 21 Union St., with possession of a controlled substance.
