Christmas gets 30-years to life for murder

A man from Shaftsbury, Vermont admitted he shot and killed his brother-in-law back in 2007.

Police say Michael Christmas pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the death of Ronald Wilkins or North Bennington. Wilkins was shot five times as his three children looked on.

Prosecutors say the two men had a long-running feud. The plea deal calls for a prison term of 30-years to life.
