Reward offered in duct-taped dog case

PROVIDENCE - As police in Saratoga County track down leads in the case of the dog that was bound with duct tape and stuffed in a garbage bag, an anonymous donor is offering a $10,000 reward for the conviction of the person who did it.

Daisy, a four-year-old beagle, was found by a hunter off Drager Road in Providence. The dog was wrapped in duct tape and electrical tape and stuffed in a garbage bag.

The hunter says the dog was near death when he found her, but she's now recovering at her owner's home.

The donor wants to remain anonymous, but tells NewsChannel 13 that he's concerned that whoever harmed the dog could do the same thing to a child.
