Colonie man killed when truck explodes
COLONIE - A Colonie man is dead after his pickup truck burst into flames Wednesday morning.
It happened around 7 a.m. at 24 Garling Dr.
Police say the man was inside his truck in his drive when it became engulfed in flames.
Neighbors who called 911 reported hearing a loud explosion.
A woman who lived in the house was taken to Albany Medical Center after she was overcome by smoke.
The cause of the fire and death are still under investigation, although police said Wednesday afternoon that they do not suspect any foul play.
