A plea deal is rejected by two people accused of duct taping a dog and leaving him on the side of the road in Argyle in February.
Louis Hart owned the 15 year old dog named Chubby.
Police believe he gave the dog to a friend to bring to a farm, rather than euthanize it.
But that never happened. The dog was found on the side of the road.
Shane Morehouse is accused of leaving him there to be found.
The dog later had to be put down.
The deal offered would have resulted in a guilty plea to a felony, but no jail time.
Instead, the two men will have separate trials next month.
