CATSKILL – State Police arrested a Rensselaer woman on charges that she endangered the welfare of an autistic student in May.
Police say Lorna Collins-Mihill, a special education teacher at Coxsackie Elementary School, had a physical altercation with an 11-year-old student.
Collins-Mihill, 40, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment. She was released on a ticket to appear at a later date.
CORRECTION: An earlier version of the story erroneously reported that Lorna Collins-Mihill was accused of sexually assaulting a student. That is incorrect. We regret the error.
