Parking Permits system goes up for vote Monday night

We should soon know the final details of Albany’s new permit parking system.
The common council is slated to vote on the new permit system during a meeting tonight.
The system is slated to take effect October first.
It will include a long list of streets within three-quarters of a mile of the state capitol.
Up to 2, 750 spaces will be designated as permit-only for downtown residents.
The permits will cost 25 dollars a year.
Tonight's vote is at 7.
