ALBANY - When students return to Albany High School next fall they will see someone new behind the principal's desk but it will be a familiar face.

Cecily Wilson has been named the interim principal at the embattled high school. She replaces David McCalla who will move into a different administrative position at the school.

Wilson is hardly a stranger to the district. She's worked at the high school since 2010. Prior to that she was a principal and teacher in the district.

Wilson is a Princeton and St. Rose graduate and, most importantly she says, an incredibly proud Albany High graduate.

Albany High has had three principals in four years.
