GREENPORT, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say they've captured a 15-year-old boy who led state police on a chase in the Hudson Valley before crashing a van into two other vehicles and injuring four people.

State police say Friday morning that troopers tried to stop a van that was weaving Thursday night on a road near the Columbia County town of Greenport, 30 miles south of Albany. Authorities say after the van hit two other vehicles, the teen fled on foot into a wooded area near the city of Hudson.

Police found the teen around 4:45 a.m. in his grandmother's garage, not far from the accident scene. Troopers say he faces various charges.

Authorities say he ran away from the nearby Berkshire Farms, a facility for troubled youths.

The injured are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at an Albany hospital.
