Deputies use Taser on Wynantskill man at airport

ALBANY - A Wynantskill man was arrested at the Albany International Airport Tuesday night after an incident with deputies.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office said that 21-year-old John T. Vu left a bag unattended at the airport and he was not allowed on his flight because of his alcohol consumption. They said he was also in an agitated state.
The Sheriff’s Office said Vu refused orders to move and became loud and made physical contact with deputies. They tried to handcuff Vu but he became violent and tried to runaway. A Taser was used on Vu but he continued to resist and injured a member of the Sheriff’s Office in the shoulder.
He was arraigned in the Town of Colonie Court and taken to the Albany County Jail without bail.
