TROY – Testimony continues in the re-trial of former Troy Council Member Michael LoPorto in Rensselaer County Court.
LoPorto is accused of having forged ballots in the 2009 Working Families Primary, as part of a Democratic plot to steal the election.
His first trial, with co-defendant Ed McDonough, ended in a mistrial. This time around, their cases are being tried separately.
