MARIAVILLE - Camp Bisco, one of the biggest dance parties in the world, inhabits a section of Mariaville every year for the past eleven years. Hundreds, and even thousands, of people jump up and down to new age electronic music at the three day festival every year.
The fans love it so much, many of them travel from far away places to get there, like Maryland, California, Florida, and Texas, and they live in tent cities during the concert.
But all this good time turned tragic for a New Jersey man on Wednesday. Police say he was found dead in his tent of an apparent drug overdose.
Police say the 29-year old victim
police say the 29 year-old victim had difficulty walking and was sluring his words the day before. Troopers found Xanax and hydrocodone inside his tent, along with marijuana. They say there's no evidence of foul play. They're waiting for toxicology results for the official cause of death.
Some concert goers say the incident puts a damper on the event, but they'll try to finish out the weekend on a good note.
