We have obtained surveillance video from the night that the Philadelphia Eagles’ Dion Lewis got arrested at an Albany Hotel.
Charges against the Albany native and his brother will be dismissed as long as they stay out of trouble for the next six months.
Lewis and his brother are off the hook because Albany County District Attorney David Soares says there was no evidence to show they did anything wrong..
NewsChannel 13 obtained a copy of the surveillance video and the 911 call of what happened through the freedom of information law.
In the video, you can see the 21-year-old Lewis and his 35-year-old brother Lamar in the Hampton Inn Hotel lobby in Albany back on July 8. They were guests at the hotel.
Soares says the door was locked and they tried to get back in. They apparently set off the fire alarm in the process.
Someone at the hotel called 911 saying the two men were trying to break in and they had a weapon. Police arrived with guns drawn they arrested the two men.
Soares says after a thorough investigation, the fire alarm never went off, he decided to drop the charges.
Lewis was a standout at Albany Academy. He's now a running back in the NFL, he will be reporting for camp tomorrow for the Philadelphia Eagles.
