It's a story we may be hearing again and again in coming months.
Some parents in the Cohoes School District claiming the school board and superintendent are pressuring them to donate $10,000 or risk the loss of some important after-school activities for their children.
The superintendent says the district has its back against the wall financially and parents are going to have to get used to the idea that property taxes are not enough and these "donations" will be needed for things like sports and the marching band.
