Scotia girl admits to making up 'child luring' story

SCOTIA - Police say the 10-year-old girl in Scotia who claimed a man tried to lure her into his car last week, made the whole story up.
The hoax was revealed Thursday night. Police say the girl claimed the same green car and man drove past her house again.
While being interviewed by an officer, the girl admitted she made up both stories.
Why? Because she felt like she wasn't getting enough attention from her parents since the birth of a sibling.
The girl will not face any charges.
