SCHENECTADY - Two of the three pit bulls accused of attacking a nine-year-old boy in Pittsfield will be relocated to Schenectady.

According to the Berkshire Eagle, the two dogs will be moved to the Schenectady home under a settlement reached this week between the city and the animals' owners.

The third dog was euthanized on Friday. Police say the dogs attacked nine-year-old Perrin Petell as he walked into his apartment.

He ended up with a large gash on his head.

The newspaper reports the dogs will live in Schenectady's Mont Pleasant neighborhood.
