TROY - A demolition crew does away with the last of four houses destroyed in Sunday morning's arson in Troy's North Central District.
Two-dozen people including children lost their homes.
Republican council member Mark McGrath, who represents this area, says he's getting the word that a young man involved in a drug-related shootout back on may first right here where Sunday’s arson occurred had been driven from his girlfriend's home on 118 Street when arsonists struck there.
He reportedly moved to the Sixth Avenue site only to have that go up in flames two weeks ago and already had moved out when arsonists struck two more times early Sunday morning
About a dozen fires have occurred in recent weeks and officials say over half are suspected arsons.
Troy mayor Lou Rosamilia ordered emergency fire patrols, police and firemen to roam the streets overnight.
