Man tries to spray police with his own blood

PITTSFIELD - A Berkshire County man is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, police tell NewsChannel13 that the deadly weapon was his own blood.
Investigators say 53-year-old Jeffrey Harrington was upset, hit an eleven year old at a home in Richmond, and then locked himself into the house.
Police got him out and took him to a hospital where they say he was combative, pulled out his IV and tried to spray officers with his blood.
