TROY - The Troy City Council meets tonight.

And they are expected to address graffiti on buildings around the city.

The proposed legislation would require the police department to maintain a registry of graffiti with addresses and photographs.

It would also allow the department of public works to take down graffiti, if the property owner does not do so.

The sponsor of the legislation says the cleanup will not cost taxpayers any extra money.
