The 43 Senate District contains parts of Rensselaer, Columbia, Saratoga, and Washington Counties.

·Kathleen A. Marchione In addition to running on the Republican ticket, Marchione is running on the Conservative Party ticket.
·Roy J. McDonald - Incumbent McDonald first assumed office in 2009. In addition to running on the Republican ticket, McDonald is running on the Independence Party of New York State ticket.
