Area District Attorneys say they need help convincing reluctant witnesses to do the right thing.
Tuesday afternoon they welcomed an offer of assistance from the Federal Government.
According the DA’s, it's not just the biggest cases where witness intimidation is a problem.
Getting people to testify to what they saw is becoming an issue even with larcenies and simple robberies.
Senator Chuck Schumer is pushing for legislation to make intimidation a Federal Crime.
