RENSSEALER - Authorities say two drivers were both drunk behind the wheel when their vehicles collided on a Rensselaer street.

Police say the accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Third and John.

Officers say 21-year-old Jaide Rios of Albany and 43-year-old James Macarelli were driving in opposite directions when their cars collided.

Police say Rios had a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent. She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Macarelli was charged with DWI. His blood-alcohol content wasn't available.

Rios wasn't injured. Macarelli was treated for minor injuries at an Albany hospital.
