Investment firm founders face new fraud charges

ALBANY - The founders of the embattled Albany-based investment firm, McGinn and Smith now face new charges of fraud.

Timothy McGinn and David Smith were indicted on charges mail and wire fraud, securities fraud and filing a false income tax return.

The pair was originally indicted in January.

They're scheduled to go to trial next month.
