Police find 40 pot plants inside 68-year-old woman's home

QUEENSBURY - State Police say they found 40 pot plants growing inside 68-year-old Florence Vaughan's home.

The odor from the plants was so strong, officers could smell it from outside.

NewsChannel13’s media partners at the Post Star report Vaughan also had a shotgun and rifle in her home.

The problem: she's a felon and can't possess them legally.

Vaughan was convicted in 2003 of grand larceny for stealing from the State while working as at toll taker.
