TROY, N.Y. (AP) - The city of Troy is getting a grant from the Preservation League of New York State to complete National Historic Register documentation for historic textile manufacturing buildings.

The League announced Wednesday that it's granting the city $5,000 for the project.

Seven buildings along the Hudson River in the city are the focus of the historic register survey. The Troy Architectural Program is doing the survey work.

The state Preservation League has awarded more than $1.7 million to 279 projects statewide under the Preserve New York Grant Program.

At its August meeting, the Preserve New York panel chose 14 applicants in 11 counties to share $83,674 in funding.
