Late night junkyard fire in Green Island

There was a junkyard fire in Green Island Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called to FK Freedman & Son on Tibbits Avenue around nine last night.
We’re told one of the piles caught on fire.
No one was injured.
There have been numerous fires there over the past few years, most recently in July.
