Gov. Andrew Cuomo has fired his Emergency Management Director.

Steven Kuhr allegedly diverted a crew to remove debris at his home on Long Island after Superstorm Sandy hit.

Kuhr had been paid $153,000 a year in his position.

The governor has bitterly criticized utilities for what he said has been slow progress restoring power to customers from the Hudson Valley through Long Island.
