Price Chopper donates over 11,000 pounds of turkey to annual community dinner

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Equinox is getting some help as volunteers prepare for the big feast.

Price Chopper donated all of the turkey's needed for the annual Equinox Thanksgiving Community Dinner.

Price Chopper employees loaded the first of two delivery trucks this morning, adding up to more than 11,000 pounds of turkey.

The donation will help feed more than 9,500 people in need.

The Equinox Dinner is one the largest and longest running holiday traditions in New York State.
