Sandy relief drop-off locations

Residents of Clifton Park interested in making a last minute donation can go to 3 South Barney Road Saturday morning until 11:00am. Volunteers there are packing donated supplies destined for some of the hardest hit areas of Staten Island and Rockway Beach. Items needed there are:
- Non-perishable food items
- Winter coats
- D batteries and flashlights
- Medical supplies
- Toiletries
- Cleaning supplies
- Personal care products
Saturday is also the final day to drop off at the Latham Fire Department. Volunteers will be at Station #1 at 226 Old Loudon Rd. in Latham from 9:00am-5:00pm collecting items to send downstate.
East Greenbush volunteers are collecting items at the East Greenbush Fire Department on Phillips Road until 4:00pm Saturday.
Many of the drop off locations throughout the region plan to leave at some point throughout the day. Volunteers are not equipped to store items for any length of time, so anyone interested in making donations should have them in before the end of the day
