Cash register stolen from Mechanicville business

MECHANICVILLE - Typically you hear of criminal suspects demanding money from a cash register but police in Saratoga County have a case with a new twist.
They say 27-year-old Frank Mantello of Waterford had a stolen cash register.
He's charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
It's not yet clear who took the register.
Police say it came from a Mechanicville business, although they have not named that business.
NewsChannel13 has contacted them to get more detail but so far, no reply has been received.
