In Schenectady, the budget battle between the mayor and the city council.

Tuesday night the council voted to over-ride a veto by Mayor Gary McCarthy.

The mayor is against the city council's proposed 2013 budget, which has a lower tax increase of under 2-percent.

Mayor McCarthy’s budget proposed a 4.2 percent tax increase.

Council member Vince Riggi tells us there's a good chance the budget will be changed, but they want to control taxes.
