Man charged with abusing 4-year-old boy

GREENPORT – A 26-year-old man has been arrested after authorities say he sexually abused a 4 –year-old boy.
Joseph Race, according to Columbia County Sheriff’s investigators, is a family friend who abused the child two years ago while the family was staying at his residence.
Race was charged with criminal sexual act 1st degree and sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of bail.
