Clergy, elected officials, and members of the LGBT community will be raising awareness about gender related violence in Glens Falls, Sunday.
The Transgender Day of Remembrance kicks off at 3:30pm at the Crandall Library. It includes a candlelight vigil to remember victims, and a panel of speakers.
The event encourages support of the Gender Expression Non-discrimination Act, which prohibits discrimination on gender identity and expression.
