Gloversville PD hires second female officer in department's history

GLOVERSVILLE - Gloversville police are welcoming a new officer to their ranks.
What makes this hiring so unique is that officer Jillian Faville is only the second female officer in the history of the department.
She's the first female member of the force since 1994 when Marjorie Jones retired from the department.
With Faville's hiring, the department is now fully staffed with 30 members.
