Boyfriend, mom indicted in death of 5-year-old

GLENS FALLS - A grand jury in Warren County has indicted the Glens Falls couple accused in the death of a little boy.
Brandon Warrington is now charged with murder in the death of five-year-old Gary Carpenter. The child's mother, Jennie Mattison, is charged with felony reckless endangerment.
Prosecutors say she failed to get immediate medical care for her son after they say Warrington knocked him to the ground twice, causing fatal brain injuries.
Warrington was initially charged with assault. The couple will be arraigned on the indictment later today.
