New poll finds most parents give social networking a PG-13 rating

A new poll finds two thirds of parents think kids should be at least 13 before using the internet alone. 60% support banning websites and apps from collecting their personal information.

Not everyone agrees. 29% of parents say their kids have their own wi-fi devices. 19% say their kids have a social networking profile. the last time laws to protect kids online were updated was 1998.
