ALBANY – Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a stabbing on Myrtle Avenue in Albany, Monday afternoon.
29-year-old Michael Anderson is wanted in connection with that stabbing.
He is described as 5 ft. 10 in., and 150 lbs.
One person died. Two others were seriously hurt.
Police say this began when were called to 157 Myrtle Ave. around 2:30 p.m. Monday for a reported assault.
When they arrived, they say they found three females with puncture wounds.
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other two women were taken to Albany Medical Center. Their conditions are not known, but police say their wounds were not superficial and they are in surgery right now, and may "pull through."
Parts of Myrtle Avenue are still shut down until further notice as police investigate the scene.
