Local officials focus on 2013 budget plans

As the end of 2012 approaches, local officials are wrestling with their budgets for next year.

The Rensselaer County Legislature is holding a public hearing Monday evening on changes they want to make to the county executive's budget.

A special meeting will be held next Monday night to vote on the budget.

And in Albany, the common council will hold a special meeting on Wednesday night to vote on its budget for 2013.
