Gun threat puts Schenectady school in lockdown

SCHENECTADY – An Elm Street school went into lockdown Monday, after a report of a gun in a locker.

Police say the threat was found written on a bathroom stall at Central Park School, around 2:30 Monday afternoon.

Students were dismissed classroom by classroom.

Police searched the school with a K-9 unit.

No weapon was located.

No arrests have been made.
