Arrest made in suspicious Colonie fire

COLONIE - We have an update on a suspicious fire in Colonie we first told you about almost two weeks ago.
Police tell us 26 year old Khadijah Hopkins set the Elm Street house on fire.
They originally arrested her last week on burglary charges.
They say she knew no one was in the house and stole a TV, a laptop, two Playstation consoles and several video games.
Along with those charges she is now charged with arson and felony aggravated cruelty to animals.
That's because a dog was in a crate inside the house and died in the fire.
