SCHENECTADY - The Capital Region has two lottery winners celebrating this holiday season.
One of them works at TV8 in Glens Falls.
Magen MacDavid was married only two weeks earlier and had promised her new husband she would stop playing the scratch off tickets.
However, one day at the Cumberland Farms in Queensbury while getting coffee, she couldn't resist the Win for life ticket. After seeing she was a winner, she called her husband, but he didn't answer.
She now gets a $1,000 a week for the rest of her life.
She was joined in Schenectady today by another scratch off winner, Kenneth Stroud.
He won a $2 million prize in the monopoly millionaire game.
The Troy man bought his ticket at the Hannaford in West Sand Lake.
